Virtual Cards from Spain!

Since the Lord of the RIngs TCG began, players have been creating 'Dream Cards'. After Decipher officially stopped production of the game, players continued to develop these dream cards so that they had new material to play with.

One of my loyal followers from Spain, Darkpadawan, provided me with the following 10 cards from a virtual expansion he called 'The Animals'. He apologizes in advance for any spelling and grammatical errors he may have made. I applaud and thank him for his stellar job on creating the look and feel of new Lord of the Rings TCG cards. Enjoy!

  3. Hmmm... I long wish we could get a continuing committee like ST did.

Now onto cards (LOVE their frame, though the culture symbol bugs me a bit - pun! - should be more stylized).

Why do they have a site # of 1? A # of 2 would keep everything from being roaming. If you just want to convey "ever present" or as a counter to some of the ranger shenanigans, I say make it 0.

Noisy Crow - Really needs to have "Lurker" or else he'll be eaten quickly by companions.

Honeycomb - It's rather useless to put "Hunter" on a support area condition, isn't it?

I kind of like the bears, except Decipher usually tried to keep fierce and damage +1 together off minions except for the most fearsome, dangerous ones. I think it would be better if the cub lost the "gain hunter" and had "gain fierce" (plus fits the style).

Brog - Uh... why put damage+ on a character nearly always garuanteed to overwhelm its opponent? Also, just because I'm a stickler for standards, his text should probably read like Gollum, Hopeless: http://lotrtcgwiki.com/wiki/lotr15043
(modifying it yields) At the start of each skirmish involving Brog, he is strength +X until the end of that skirmish, where X is twice the strength of all characters skirmishing Brog.

Animal Rage - heh, I like it, but just looking at the animals, everyone except the bears needs more than +4 just to avoid getting overwhelmed. Maybe take off the limit or adjust it in some way?

  4. These are great! Room for improvement, but among the best fan-made LOTR cards. Darkpadawan, if you're still a follower, what program did you use to design/edit these?
