Hunter Orc

Here's a vanilla Gundabad Orc with some important items of note for discussion. I've been thinking about how I want this game to differ from Lord of the Rings TCG; in particular I thought about having 13 companions in the Company, which lead me to think about how any Shadow side could possibly win. In general, I want the Shadow to win 50% of the time.

There are some nice options to achieve this, particularly cards that hate on large companies, but I also wanted to make minions cost less on average to make every site a legitimate threat to the Company.

I also wanted to start adding culture flavors with Gundabad Orcs punishing the Company for moving too much, Moria Orcs swarming, and the Ringwraith culture focusing on the dead (discard pile).

Let me know what you think!

Hey, I was wondering what program you use to make these... I'm interested in joining forces at some point if I ever have free time... I like to print out proxies for the TCG for cards I can't get a hold of, though I have a lot of the original.

If I were to contribute, I think I'd probably focus still on LotR TCG, or maybe just integrate both Hobbit stuff with LotR - kind of like what Decipher did with the Star Wars Prequels (as much as I hate them) before the company lost the rights.

Anyways, keep up the good work. Sorry if my comments seem critical at times - I really think you have a great vision with the flavor of the cards, but a lot seem really overpowered at times. Nothing personal, I'd just like to help you out.

    1. Hey Christopher,

Sorry for the slow reply. I use GIMP on Mac OSX to make these. Happy to provide any guidance if you want to get into it.

I'm being honest with myself and realizing that I won't get full sets of Hobbit TCG out at this rate and on my own, so I'm staying in the realm of just creating one off dream cards and encourage you and everyone to do the same!

      Best,
      Ray
